Though the Stabilize It! line of embroidery stabilizers and backing are not new, we thought them worthy of a mention on the blog. One of the biggest problems with your embroidery stabilizers is keeping them organized. Just ask any embroiderer about their sewing or embroidery room and they’ll tell you, unless you keep your backings neat, you’ll be wondering exactly what type you are looking at. You certainly don’t want to use a tear away when you need a cut away. Stabilize It! stabilizers come pre-cut and in a handy “Smart Sheets” dispensing system which helps to keep everything straight and easily accessible.
-Stackable boxes keep your sewing room neat and organized
-Don’t run our mid-project- a glance in the box shows you how many sheets are left
-Instructions and uses are right on the box
-color-coded packaging makes it easy to find the right stabilizer for your project
We carry the entire line of Stabilize It! stabilizers in stock, ready for quick shipment.

Thanks for the chance to win. I love machine embroidery so keeping my fingers crossed I’m a winner!
I have been needing to purchase some stabilizer as I’ve never tried embroidering on tees! Jessica Hood
I have just recently been looking for stabilizer and am not quite sure what to get. So any sample is greatly appreciated.
The dispensing system sounds really cool. Thanks for the chance to win!
I want to try machine embroidery and that means you need stabilizer. Alas, I do not have any. If I won your contest, it would be the kickstart I need to try another type of embriodery that would keep me off of the streets at night.
I need some stabilizer clarification…in what application would you recommend the sticky stabilizer that you wet with water to activate it? I have sewn with it once or twice but the end project seems very stiff to me since the paper becomes embedded with stitches or does it wash out??
this really looks like an exciting new technique (at least for me). I have been wanting to try something like this. I have a very good friend who does beautiful embroidery, and I have been inspired to give it a try!
I would love to win!! I want to try it on t-shirts!!
I don’t think I have ever used a stabilizer unless you call inferfacing an stabilizer. I’d love to try one.
kathy: I have a number of customers who use Hydro-Stick (which is what you are referring to) because after they are done embroidering, it is easy to remove the remaining stabilizer by wetting it and peeling it back. I think it just boilis down to a preference thing.
This stabilizer sounds terrific!
I’ve just started embroidering and trying some products for this craft would be awesome. I think I would def need some instructions. This sounds cool – plus, you mentioned organizing for my craft room (always needed and appreciated!!)
As the proud new owner of a combination sewing/embroidery machine, I need all the help I can get understanding when/what to use. This sounds like an awesome product and I can not wait to try it.
I am really excited about this new stabilizer. I can’t wait to utilize the dispensing system. I also love to be included in winning free stuff.
The idea of the stabilizer in its own box with explanation and color coded makes it easier for the user to know which one to use for which project they are ready to do. Knowing how much is left is neat too, so you know what is needed to order in the future.

I’ve wanted to try this stabilizer. I have learned the hard way that the right stabilizer is a must for an embroidery project to be smashing!!!
I have a machine and love to embroider but don’t know enough about stabilizers. It is hit or miss with what works for my projects. I do keep them organized with cardboad rollers. It would be wonderful to win and learn more about stabilizers. Thanks for the opportunity to enter the contest.
I could sure use this sample pack. I am just starting to embroider and would welcome this pack.
I need all the help I can get to organize -and I love to try new stabilizers or new anything sewing or embroidery related.
Something new is being offered! the stabilizer is quite important
for all that I have been embroidering. I hold a special interest in how this one will work for all my needs.
I’d like to try this one – even if I don’t win a free one.
It is hard to know what stabilizer to use when. So many of my things draw up when I embroidery them. Is there a way to know ahead of time?
I just got my first embroidery /sewing machine and I am in love! I am just starting to learn and would love to win one of the stabilizer packages. Love the idea it of it explaining on the box what to use it on as I am just learning.
When I bought my embroidery machine I was told to stabilize, stablilize\\\you can not stabilize too much. I would love to win the stabilizer kit
I would love to win also. I have several thing to make and could really use more good stabilizer. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Sewing everyone!!! Mary
As a relative newbie I am very interested in this stabliizer. I have had to learn what I could through digests and forums because I bought my machine from a private owner and didn’t have any lessons or dealers to advise me. I still haven’t found the perfect stabilzer…..perhaps this will be it . I sure hope so !!!!!!!
Michelle
You need as many different types of stabilizer as you have fabrics to embroider on. A sample pack is the perfect answer
Whoa!!! Awesome giveaway!!!
I just started embroidering, and a sample pack would be perfect.
i have alot of different stabilizers but its hard to know what goes well with what type of items to use it one. tees are a hard one for me but am always willing to try new stuff to improve the look of these. steph
would love to try a stabilizer on tees that didnt pucker.
Winning a pack of stabilizier would be awesome, because I am new at machine embroidery, and have so much to learn about which stabilizer to use on different projects!!! Machine Embroidery has literally changed my life!!!
Oooh, add my name to the hat, please! I can never get enough stabilizer, it makes everything so neat and simple!
I would love to try this sample pack. Thanks for the chance to win!
The packaging sounds like it would be useful for someone like me with a very small place to work. Also a place that has to be packed up when company comes (dining room). Got my fingers crossed! Thanks!
Sounds like a great product! I would love to experiment with this.
I would welcome a neat way to store stabilizers. The fact that instructions are handy on the box is a definite asset. Will you be carrying stabilizers for the new 360×350 hoops? I am really in need of that size.
I have tried some of your products and had great results with them. Keep up the good work .
Would love to try it….would love to win!
Thanks.
This is pretty neat. Would love to be a winner. New stabilizers are interesting to work with and I am always looking for better and different products.
Love this site!!
This sounds like a great system. I definitely have the horribly cluttered sewing room, which also happens to be the playroom for the kids. I can’t ever find anything!
I have not tried this product, but I am always looking for something to help those horrid puckers. Looking forward to giving it a try.
