The sample snowflake looks great. I would imagine you could embroider it on a washaway stablizer, then rinse away the stablizer and starch the snowflake for a Christmas tree ornament.
I like how there are so many different flakes! Lots of pretty designs!
woo-hoo! I am working on Christmas projects and this will be a wonderful design to use. Thanks so much, can’t have too many snowflakes!
Yes, this is the dewsign for Christmas this year. Matching Hat and Scarfs;o)
Elizabeth Keller
These are awesome, saw them stitched out by my Brother dealer. They would be beautiful in metallic, especially variegated, a bunch of them on a sweatshirt or denim shirt in different colors - wow. Would be pretty on a tablerunner with small tealight candles catching the sparkle of the thread.
Would get me through the Wisconsin winters - love snowflakes.
As someone who just started embroidering that past few weeks, this design will be a must purchase. I love the color scheme and have thoughts of them on winter hand towels, dish cloths, and so much more!
I love the snowflake design.
I love the snowflake design. I will use it for my Christmas decorations this year.
Wow what a great set would love to win this one. Margie
Wow! What a cool and different looking set of snowflakes. What a nice way to stay cool during the hot summer, stitchin’ these out on a pretty fleece vest for the winter months.
As they say their are not two alike ,and these are beautiful an Im from the north
The snowflakes would sparkle with the sun shining through a window sheer/curtain!
These snowflakes design would be great on a Holidy Quilt or table topper!
The snowflake stars are great! love them. they would look good on Scarfs and Jackets, hats.for the hoildays!! mmmm Christmas in July!!
The snowflakes are awesome! It’s nice to think of winter things in the midst off our summer heat.
I have ordered the embroidery cd’s from SFL for many many years and for gifts for my embroidery friends, who then have become SFL customers and the embroidery turns out beautiful. Will do so for many more years. Love the blog free stuff.
You shouldn’t assume that we all have used a blog before - it took me an hour just to get to this point. I like the idea of the free stuff, but it waasn’t worth an hour of my time. I only kept proceeding just so I would know how to get to a blog and what it entailed to use one. It would be really nice if you are going to have a contest like this to fully explain how to get to the point where we can enter a comment and do not assume everyone has highspeed. I live in an area where I am stuck with acnient dial up. No high speed available.
As I live in the hot tropics of North Queensland Australia - any design that ‘cools’ is something that is most appealing to the eyes. I could see these (embroidered with gold and silver thread) on our Christmas Tree (a native gum tree in a pot)
These snowflakes are lovely. As a new comer to embroidery I would love to add these to my beginning collection. I cn imagine using different colour threads to make some of the snowflakes appear to be fireworks exploding. Please keep up the wonderful designs, even if I cannot afford to purchase them all.
Wow! Gorgeous snowflakes. Thanks for bringing my attention to these.
really nice, can see these on polar fleece
Impressive collection, wish it came on a memory card, as I can not use a .cd I have gotten several card designs from here, and alway been well satisfied
I love the snowflakes, but I sure don’t miss the snow !!!!1
There isn’t a great demand for snowflakes out here in S. Arizona where, right now, the temperature is hitting over 100 degrees every single day. However, being born and raised in PA, where all of my relatives still live, there is always a need for a gift where snowflakes would be perfect. These designs are very detailed and very creative.
These are beautiful!!!!
Anything by Dakota Collectibles is a wonderful embroidery product to own and stitch out. These snowflakes would look nice on so many things and are not necessarily limited to winter themes. Its a lot more fun to embroider them then it is to be shoveling them in the winter!
These would look great on hand towels for Christmas. I’m new at embroidering and plan to make many Christmas presents this year.
Definitely much more fun to embroider than shovel!
Who wouldn’t want snowflakes when the temp and humidity are both 90 and going up!? Dakota COllectables are always well digitized and these designs look to be super all over pants and a shirt. Yes to Yenmet, too! It’s the best metallic ….
The snowflakes are just beautiful. They would look great with crystal accents. I can’t wait to stitch them out.
Your sight is the first one I have purchased from and was so thrilled with the products. I am new at the embroidery machine and I just love it. I have you in my favorites so I don’t have to be chasing all over the web for it. You are truely one of my “favorites”.
love the butterflies
Pretty snowflakes but I am still not ready for snow after last winter!!
Each snowflake is unique, just like real snowflakes.
I love my snowflakes embroidered, but not on my lawn.
My mother grew up in Minnesota - she would love these snowflake designs.
I love the snowflakes! There are so many great ideas for using them. I also will be working on Christmas items soon. I am a quilter and these would be a great addition to a winter quilt!
I have a favorite season and its winter and Christmas, how wonderful it would be if I had a lot of snowflakes to hang on the tree and for the little grandkids at Christmas. I love the cd’s you sell and have ordered lots of them plus much of the other stuff you sell. janet
I know those of you who live in snow country get to the point where you ‘hate it’, and can’t wait for spring, for those of us that lived in areas where we might get snow once every 15-20 years, we would love to have it for maybe ‘one weekend’. Funny how we want what the other has. These designs remind me of the winters I always imagine if I lived in snow country, I will always associate snowflakes with Christmas and hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. The designs are lovely and I would love to use them on something special for my holiday decorations.
I would welcome a few snowflakes in this heat.
I love your designs. About all my designs are from your company. I just wish that there was a store closer to home. I look at your web site about twice a week.
Thank you so much for the lovely design
Charlotte Elder
Love you web site and have ordered several bargins.
Love the snowflakes, and this is the way I like to enjoy winter sewing out snow flakes instead of watching them.
Beautiful snowflakes! Winter was so long in Montana this year that I thought I would never want to see another snowflake. But summer arrived this week, and those cool, crisp snowflakes really look cool to me. I would love to have this design to decorate the little flannel quilts I am making. Thanks for featuring this design.
Bettie
[...] on over to their blog to lay down some comments, the worst that could happen is you win a free embroidery design [...]
Would also love some snowflakes to cool this place down right now.
Wow! This is certainly the time to start working on Christmas stuff! These designs would go great with an unfinished project that I have!
Like Dakota Collectibles. Like Snowflakes. Not used to a blog.
Just getting in my comments/entries. Who knows - maybe I will win.
Just another comment/entry. Seems like I am the only one on right now.
Want to embroidery all the time another entry for me.
Very nice giveaway!
I agree with Pam. It was a long winter in North Idaho. The snowflakes are beautiful, but I am not ready to start thinking winter yet. It looks like some are especially designed to use crystals. Does anyone have a favorite type of crystal? Brenda
Would love to get this pack of designs. Can see myself making ornaments to use as gifts for the neighborhood.
Yes winters are long, but snowflakes are beautiful. I can’t wait for winter to return so I can showcase these designs.
no two are alike, just as in nature. Beautiful!
Lots of gifts to make. Pretty, pretty, pretty!
What’s the best stabilizer for t-shirts?
