Oh my goodness! Three pounds of Loralie fabric would make a lot of cute & wonderful things for my four-year old granddaughter. A quilt would be the first thing, of course. Then, I can’t even begin to think of what I could do with it all. Hope I win.

This would be a true Blessing for me. We are raising our three grandchildren ages 7, 6, 4 they love it when I make them things. In September of 2007 I fell & broke my foot had to have surgery. I am just now getting out of a wheelchair because infection set in. I almost lost my leg. By the Grace of God it healed. Much to the surprise of my Doctor. Sorry to much information. LOL My husband is retired & I have tried to start Christmas. I am going to try to make lap Quilts for family that helped with the little ones & house work. My little ones have also asked for a quilt for their beds. I do tend to go on & on sorry. Anyway it would be wonderful to win.
    God Bless,
    Linda

  11. Sue Kashow says:

I have a friend who showed me how to make cooling bands for the soldiers that they put around their heads or necks to keep cool. We could make lots of those and another idea would be to make a quilt for a cancer patient. Also our church group makes wall hangings and quilts for women’s shelters, orphanages, and the homeless. Those scraps could do a lot of good in lots of ways.

    Thanks for sharing,
    Sue

I would make a scrappy lap quilt for my little 93 yr old friend for whom I am a “friendly visitor” . I visit her in the nursing home once or twice a week and she loves nice bright colors. She also has a great sense of humor so I know she would enjoy this great fabric. I would use the flip and sew method so as much of the designs as possible would be visible. If I win there would be a very happy sweet little ladie who does not receive many treats………… Thank you for your consideration

Thanks for all of the fun 8-)

  27. maureen mcgraw says:

Love her designs. In keeping with her off beat sense of style and humor, I would use the fabric to put together a totally wild jacket and matching purse. I would use some of her embroidery designs that coordinate with the fabric designs. I would also use some totally wild yarns and specialty threads to add some zing to the jacket. I would then make a one of a kind hat with feathers and fur to wear with the jacket and purse. In keeping with her style I would use bright and exciting colors (reds, purples, golds, magerntas and turquoise) to add punch to the whole ensemble. zaniness would prevail in my execution of my plan. If some of the cat fabrics were included in the mix, I would make a purse with a cat face embroidered on it and add a fake fur tail. the cat would have to have a bit of bling on his collar and fabulous chartreuse crystal eyes with glued on long fake eyelashes. The cat would be “A Cat with Pursonality and Style.” A cat Loralie would be proud of and a one of a kind ensemble I would wear with pride and strut my 64 year old stuff with style. Thank you for your consideration, Maureen
