Brother has added a trial download for their PE-Design embroidery software suite. We have gotten tons of inquiries about this so if you are looking to learn more about Brother’s famous embroidery software suite – download to your hearts content and start playing!
Just be very aware that you can try it out but you can’t actually save any of the designs that you design with it if they are originally drawn or digitized. It also does not allow you to take those original designs and transfer them to a card to try on your machine. Hubby and I tried it and absolutely fell in love with it. But we were not able to use all the functions and couldn’t save or stitch anything we did with it. Very frustrating if you are trying it out to purchase it. We have yet been able to find the funds to purchase it–maybe one day.
While we agree that it would be great if you could save it – many demos are set up this way. At least you can play around with most of the functionality – before 7.0 (the first time that they offered a demo) there was no way to see the program first!

I have version 8 and am still learning to use it. Hubby knows more than I do since he is a graphic designer.
I am interested in a price for the P E Design 8. Full version or upgrade is fine. We are running PE Design 6.
