A Touch of Southwest by Dakota Designs (970456)
First, don’t shoot the messenger on this one but I am not a fan of southwest. I am really not but get this, I lived in Arizona for 6 years! I know weird, huh? With that being said, I actually really liked this disk because it has some really great images that I will be using on napkins for a Cinco de Mayo party that I was planning to have this year. I thought they would be a great way to get people in the mood for the some awesome Mexican food and drinks. The first image that I stitched out is below and it stitched (as always with Dakota Collectibles pieces) like a dream and I can’t wait to play with the rest of the images. With embroidering, I love that I can take an image and use my own thread combinations to make images brighter or more alive than the designs may have normally intended. As with the design I picked, the jalapeno pepper, I chose colors to make it really pop and be fun. Check it out and let me know what you think. Get over to Sewforless.com and order your copy today!
