How to Die Cut Mini Oven Mitt Shapes:
For best cutting results, position fabric on the lengthwise grain (straight of grain) as it goes under the roller.
- To cut one mini oven mitt:
- Cut a 7" x 8 3/4", 7" x 9 3/4", and 7" x 7 1/4" rectangle out of insulated batting, cotton batting, lining and outer fabric.
- Lay lining fabric right side down on table in front of you. Top with corresponding size of cotton batting, insulated batting, and outer fabric, in that order. Pin or baste together. Quilt as desired.
- Lay “sandwiched” pieces on the die over the blades for the Outside, Inside Top, and Inside Bottom with outer fabric facing up. Place one 2 1/4" x 4" fabric rectangle on the Hang Loop section. Place mat over and cut.
