How to change the temperature settings:

1. Once batteries have been installed, select the trigger to turn on the device
2. Hold the 'Set' button down until you see 'F1" on the LCD screen
3. Select the '-' button until you see the 'F' displayed on the screen
4. Press the 'Set button 4 times (unit will turn off)
5. Depress the trigger again to turn the unit back on. Farenheit should now be the default setting.
