The convenient repositioning feature allows you to move the hooped fabric to an additional overlapping section. Imagine combining several small designs to create a larger design with no need to rehoop.  This hoop increases the effective area that you may embroider in one hooping from 100mm X 100mm to 100 x 160mm.  The largest individual design you can embroider is still 100mm x 100mm.
